Are you interested in breathwork, but feeling hesitant or unsure? Or have you tried breathwork before without experiencing the results you hoped for? This is a common experience.
Through extensive training and personal experience, I work with a therapeutic approach to breathwork that is grounded in physiology, the nervous system, and body-oriented practices. My work integrates breath, body awareness, gentle bodywork, and the use of sound or music where appropriate.
Each session is carefully adapted to your current capacity and nervous system state. Safety, choice, and pacing are central, and there is continuous attention to integration of your experience.
Breathwork may support:
-
improved sleep
-
increased focus and mental clarity
-
reduction of physical and emotional tension
-
increased energy
-
processing of emotions such as anger, fear, or sadness
-
working with trauma in a regulated and contained way
A breathwork session starts with your intention or support question. Together, we explore what approach best fits your needs at this moment. Breathwork can be applied gradually, moving between different levels of intensity, depending on what your system can tolerate.
When helpful, gentle bodywork may be included to release tension in areas such as the diaphragm, abdomen, chest, shoulders, and neck. This can support breathing efficiency and overall relaxation.
Music or rhythmic guidance (such as drumming) may be used to support the breathing process. This is always optional and adjusted to sensory sensitivity.
Each session includes time for preparation, the breathwork itself, and integration. A full session lasts approximately one hour.
